RRP5100 PRO - Race Series Panel Mount Intercom is identical to the RRP6100 and excels in panel mount applications. Performing superiorly compared to any other racing intercom, the RRP5100 facilitates clear communication between the driver and co-driver by dramatically reducing background noise when Side Tone is switched off. Other features include a Driver Isolate Switch which can be turned on to direct all radio communications to the co-driver. This enables the driver to concentrate solely on driving. Dual volume controls and internal amplifier gain allow fine-tuning of audio levels according to personal preference regardless of whether you are using ear buds, low ohm or high ohm speakers. The RRP5100 is built on transformer-based circuitry and encased in Rugged’s exclusive Total Shielded Housing to ensure protection against RF interference. This guarantees optimal audio performance. Surface mount internal microphone level control pots render it compatible with virtually any type of dynamic mic. Designed for extreme off-road race vehicles like Trophy Trucks, Class 1, and Ultra4, the RRP5100 Intercom is two-way radio ready and can accept handheld or mobile units. The rear AUX port extends connectivity to devices such as music players, smartphones, RePlay and GoPro cameras, GPSs, or satellite phones. Rugged Quick Lock adapters and jumper cables are sold separately. The intercom can be outfitted with optional DSP Chips to eliminate background noise and enhance voice clarity. The RRP5100 necessitates two DSP Chips.
