DESCRIPTION
Race-derived, adjustable clutch packages that keep the engine in the desired RPM range for a given tune, riding condition, and vehicle setup. Custom geometry weights speed shifts and improve power transfer.
All Kits Except the B-180-W Include:
- 6 Clutch Weights
- EVP High Engagement Spring
- The B-180-W includes 4 clutch weights and utilizes the OEM primary spring
Race tested in the 2019 & 2020 BITD and Lucas Off-road series with numerous podiums and championships.
Combine with our Badass WB Belts for unmatched performance, adjustability and belt life.
SHIFT-TEK DIFFERENCE
- Clutch Weights: Hardened carbon steel for strength. Color zinc coated for protection and easy identification. Same-color weights install opposite each other; color coding avoids confusion when three masses are used. Built-in shouldered bushing is machined and pressed into the arm, removing the need to reinstall OEM washers. More aggressive arc than OEM for quicker upshift and backshift. Weights remain thin except for big turbo applications that require extra mass.
- Clutch Springs: Made from Chrome Silicon steel, shot peened and preset to relieve stress for long life. Primary springs are matched to specific weights/kits to set engagement RPMs. Some high-horsepower setups include a custom secondary spring for extra belt grip.
