The package incorporates Rugged Radio's H42 headset, coiled headset jumper cable, and a handheld radio, making possible clear communication at NASCAR and IMSA circle track and road racing. The kit features radio options like the wholly digital 16-channel RDH for superior clarity or the commonly used dual band R1 with both digital and analog functions. The RDH16 is recommended for its simple operation, 16 channels, and digital technology for sharp communication and compatibility with standard analog radios. The R1 provides UHF and VHF operation and can be expanded with accessories such as long range antenna, and XL batteries. Additional features are a single cable for easy setup, in-headset PTT, adjustable volume, and a Dynamic Noise Cancelling mic.
