DESCRIPTION
Evolution Powersports was first in the industry to design and produce a Blow Off Valve (BOV) specifically for small displacement factory turbocharged engines. The EVP BOV was developed in 2015 for powersports applications rather than automotive ones.
- Tested to 500+ horsepower
- Simple install; no drilling required
- Body, piston, and cap machined from billet aluminum
- Cap anodized and re-machined for easy spring-tension adjustments
- Piston and body hard-coated with impregnated Teflon anti-friction matrix
- Three sealing O‑rings for leak-proof operation
- Produces the characteristic blow-off sound
- Includes a pre-filter to keep dirt and sand out of the exhaust ports
Requirements:
- Maverick X3 — requires EVP or other charge tubes with a 25mm BOV port
- Maverick X3 Turbo 120 and 135 HP base models require an intercooler upgrade
- Other vehicles require a 25mm BOV port
