The product, GMRS / UHF No Ground Plane (NGP) Whip Antenna Kit & NMO Mount, includes a magnetic NGP antenna mount, a UHF antenna with threaded NMO base, and 15 feet of coax cable. The POINT5 antenna delivers optimum signal performance on programmed channels. Requiring no attachment to a metal surface, the NGP antenna performs well in diverse uses and applications. It features a heat resistant ABS mounting base with silver soldered connections, gold plated push pin contacts and O-ring. The UHF antenna is pre-tuned for UHF application, has a range of 450-470 and a power of 200 watts. Other features include a 2.4 dB gain, 4 MHz UHF bandwidth, and 17-7PH stainless steel 12.5in whip. The product has NMO style base and comes in chrome color. Note, do not overtighten antenna to NMO connector.
