The Rugged RDH16 - Business Band Two Way Handheld Radio - Digital and Analog is a 5-Watt handheld radio offering crystal clear audio quality. Designed for short course and road racing, it provides a reach of 1-3 miles depending on the terrain with a 16 channel capacity. This digital handheld radio is powered by a lithium-ion battery, offering 40% more battery life than its analog counterpart due to high power efficiency. In addition, the RDH16 includes an automatic error correction feature, reducing loud engine background noise and revitalising corrupted voice data. It operates with both digital and analog channels. Compatible with any radio operating on the same frequencies, it works with various models including RDM-DB, RDH-X, R1, V3, and RH5R, as well as Icom, Motorola, and Kenwood radios.
