IMSA Driver and Crew Chief Racing Kit with R1 Radios provides both digital and analog communication. It is designed to enhance clarity, flexibility, and reliability in various racing environments. The kit includes the R1 dual-band digital/analog radio and the upgraded H42 Behind-the-Head headset for improved noise isolation and comfort. The kit also features IMSA 3-Conductor Configuration, plug-and-play installation, clear audio through AlphaBud mono earbud, and added protection in form of a ballistic nylon radio belt and an aluminum handheld radio box. The kit also has equipment for both driver and crew with separate components for each. For example, the driver setup includes things like R1 dual-band radios, IMSA 4C wired communication harness, Velcro-mounted steering wheel push-to-talk button, and AlphaBud mono earbud. The crew setup has items like R1 dual-band radios, H42 Behind-the-Head headset, handheld radio coil cord for crew headset connection, and ballistic nylon crew radio belt. The R1 is compatible with all VHF/UHF business band radios on the same frequencies. However, long-range antennas remain exclusive to the High-Performance kit.
