Garmin Tread 2 Overland and SXS offers an 8” high-resolution, ultrabright, glove-friendly touchscreen navigator built for extreme temperatures and weather. Two editions with different mounting options and power sources are available: Overland with 12V plug power and suction cup mount, and the SXS with hardwired power and bar mount. The navigator has turn-by-turn navigation for unpaved roads and trails with OpenStreetMap, U.S. Forest Service Motor Vehicle Use Maps, and Adventure Roads and Trails map content. It also features preloaded topographic maps of North and South America, private and public land info, campgrounds, snow trails, and City Navigator maps of North America with custom street routing. Subscription-free satellite imagery is also available for download directly to the device for overhead route views, and support for Outdoor Maps+ is provided for access to premium map content. It comes with a preloaded directory of Ultimate Public Campgrounds, a compatible smartphone app for route planning and friend tracking, sensors for altimeter, barometer, compass and pitch/roll gauges, and a heavy-duty suction cup with robust magnet-assisted locking mount. It can be paired with the compatible inReach satellite communicator for two-way messaging and interactive SOS, and a Garmin PowerSwitch digital switch box for on-screen vehicle electronics control. Track sporting dogs in the field by pairing it with your compatible Garmin GPS dog tracker.
