The Rage 3P primary clutch, paired with the STM driven clutch, is designed to deliver optimal performance. Made from billet aluminum, this clutch is a durable, high-performance replacement for your stock primary clutch.
Key Features
- Improved Low-Speed Engagement: The Rage 3P provides extremely smooth engagement at low speeds, with improved torque. This makes big tires and low-speed riding much easier.
- Enhanced Bearing Design: A new two-way bearing with a smaller 47mm outer diameter allows for a lower initial takeoff ratio than previous designs. This also results in tighter belt deflection and smoother transmission shifting.
- Adjustable Performance: This clutch is compatible with most aftermarket cam arms and comes calibrated with an adjustable set of SUPERTIP CAM ARMS and a spring. The cover is also designed to use Polaris ATV springs, giving you a wide range of spring rates to choose from.
- Universal Fit: The Rage 3P will fit under the stock clutch cover without any modifications and is designed to work with your stock secondary clutch.
Ordering and Setup
When placing your order, provide details about your machine's engine to help us with the initial setup. Let us know if your engine is stock, if you have a big bore kit, or if it has a turbo. If it's turbocharged, please specify the boost level.
Note: The factory setup will get you close, but fine-tuning is required to match your specific riding style and preferences.
Required Tools
Specialized tools are needed for spider removal and installation on all STM primary clutches. These are sold separately:
- Primary Clutch Holding Tool: Item #1001649
- STM Spider Nut Extra Deep Socket Tool: Item #1001653
- Spider Tool: Use either Item #1001020 (Rage 3 & 6) or Item #1001032 (Rage 4 & 8), depending on the model.
